Suffolk and Nassau Chapters will once again be chartering a bus for Advocacy Day.  This year, Advocacy Day is February 26 in Albany.   Bus will pick us up at the 110 park n ride at 5:30am and drop us back there around 6pm.   Bagels and beverages will be provided. 

 

If you have never been to advocacy day, this is a chance for your voice to directly impact the support we get from our legislators which has a lasting impact on our local school communities.  NYSSFA will provide talking points and training on the topics prior to our Albany visit.  As a group, we will meet with various staff members and legislators from our local districts and have an opportunity to educate them on the items that are important to us.
